- Photos will be judged fairly,
by a panel of parents and photographers with no discrimination towards sex,
race, or age. Decisions are final.
- Photos which will NOT be
accepted are those which depict the child in a derogatory fashion or those in
which the child appears to have been placed in a dangerous setting. Our judges
reserve the right to refuse any photograph that they define as unacceptable.
- Photos will be returned
if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included with the entry form. Winners' photos will
not be returned, due to possible publishing use.
- Photos may be mailed in or sent
online. If mailed in, photos should be no larger than 5x7. If emailed, format
should be in jpeg or gif format. Photo may be color or black/white. We reserve
the right to crop your photos if needed.
- You may submit up to two (2)
photos of the same child for each category entered. We will choose the best
one for judging. If you want more than one photo judged, you must enter each
photo separately with a separate paid entry fee.
- Each category entered requires
a separate entry fee.
- Parent or Legal Guardian of
contest winner grants Captured Moments permission to publish the photo,
child's name and home town on the web site and any additional publications
announcing winners. Child's address and phone number will not be published,
nor we will ever share your child's information with any third parties.
- Winner's photos become the
property of Captured Moments Contest.
- Winners will be notified by
email within 14 days after the contest deadline.
- Winners must accept terms of
contest before prize package is released. If terms are not accepted
within 30 days of first notification, prize package will be forfeited.
- Winners must claim their their
prizes within 30 days of notification or prizes will be forfeited.
- Returned checks will result in
potential forfeiture of contest entry. A $15 service fee will be charged for
each occurrence.
- Employees of Captured Moments
Contest and their families are not eligible to participate.
- Entry form is valid only when
contest fee paid in full.
- Cash awards are dependent of
the number of entries received for current competition.
- Prizes are based on
availability and are subject to change. If this should happen, we will
substitute with a similar item at equal value.
- The information you submit to
Captured Moments Contest will not be shared with third parties.
- Photos will gain national
exposure. If an agency contacts us for information about a child, we will not
share any information, but will contact the parent or legal guardian of that
child with a message from the agency.
- Entries received after the
deadline will automatically be submitted into the following contest.
- Professional photos may be
submitted. If the company or
photographer owns the copyrights, we may need you to obtain a letter
relinquishing those copyrights if your photo wins.
- Captured Moments Contest is not
responsible for photos that are lost or damaged in the mail.
